The role of the
Forest School programme leader in promoting learning and development is
multifaceted.

It is the leader’s responsibility to promote good practice
with health and safety at Forest School. They ensure that all risk assessments
are up to date including; site, daily, ongoing and activity risk assessments.

First Aid
A first aid kit, along with an emergency bag and burns kit,
is taken to Greave Primary School Forest School.
The first aid kit contains: gloves, bandages, dressings,
plasters, micro-pore tape, an accident book, face shield, burn gel, sterile
water, scissors and whistle.
A mobile phone is also taken to the site.
